I put together some Battletech bases a week or so out of spare hex bases I had, combined with 6mm WW2 and cold-war leftovers. It was a fun little project which netted five AFVs and six infantry stands for my Marik forces.
Soviet infantry and heavy weapons getting time-machined forward quite a ways.
Nicely done. Good detail on this scale is an achievement.
ReplyDeleteBattle tech is such a weird interface of tech levels. I'm sure cold war tanks would fit in just fine. Is the Roland turret refer to a battle tech item, or a real (cold war/WW2) thing?
ReplyDeleteAnd let's face it, they're really just tokens anyway... The Roland missile was a French/German SAM first fielded in 1977. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_(missile)
DeleteInteresting bit of history there. It's surprising that a system that old was able to take down planes in the Iraq war.
