Hurricanes... (Update)

We have incoming!

It's still early and these tracks change, but this one isn't very reassuring. I think we're going to bug out and head to Atlanta (which should also be getting buckets of rain by the looks of things).

The 5am update is quite interesting. Poor Florida is set to be completely overrun, but with the storm trending west, I might do well to simply stay put. This evening's 11pm plot is the one that matters for me.

  1. Hopefully the worst of it will swing West and not batter Savannah too badly. Safe travels, good sir.

    1. My gaming buddy Mike in Waycross is now more in the storm's line of sight, as is Atlanta. The storm will, however, lose considerable strength traveling 400 miles up the length of Florida.

  2. Does it looks like worse than the one last year(or two years ago)?
    Good luck, keep safe

    1. Last year's storm was rough but damage was primarily to utilities and trees. I think this will be similar by the time it makes it to us. Miami/South Florida is in for massive widespread destruction.
